The Original Green Olive

Having recently dined at the Green Olive restaurant, I'm eager to share my experience. This cozy spot specializes in a delightful array of meat choices, including kababs, shish kabobs, and chicken—favorites that my friend raved about after multiple visits. While the carnivorous options are abundant, I was pleasantly surprised to find thoughtful considerations for vegan and vegetarian diners on the menu. For those on plant-based diets, there are three dedicated vegan and vegetarian dishes available, alongside an impressive selection of salads that match the variety offered in the meat section. What stood out was the authenticity of the vegan offerings—they weren't mere substitutes but genuine culinary creations, a refreshing change from the norm. Good Mediterranean food at very reasonable prices. I got myself a chicken wrap and while the flavor was there, the chicken itself was a little too dry. I don’t remember which vegetarian dish my friend got but I liked it more than my chicken wrap. There’s seating inside but they have a better-looking dining area outside. There’s lots of parking so you don’t have to worry about that.

Spent $67.00 for bone dry meat. The kibbeh was even dry. It’s like the food was just sitting there for hours. I asked the worker how many sauces come with the 2 meals he told me none so I ordered 2 of each. I ended up with 6 of each and charged for more than I needed. I am visiting from out of town and always make sure I eat at the green olive when in town. I have never had such a bad meal here. Disappointed.

Delicious! Busy place for dinner service but the staff will make sure your order is prepared and ready for you in about 20 minutes. Phone order, order there for take out, or dine in. All great options. Main entree options include pita bread wraps with a side of pickled vegetables and fried potatoes for $11+. Combo plates are more expensive depending on your choice of meats with the rice pilaf and side.

Giving it 5 stars cause the quality of food was really good and the waitress was super kind with us and ask us if we needed anything all the time she was really good. Only con is that you have to wait for a table if you are with a big party but other than that it's all good Food and Service. There's a restroom at this place and they have fountain drinks and alcohol as well.
